Memorial Scholarship Sponsorship Information
Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a Memorial Scholarship. Please find the information below as a guide to further assist you in planning your scholarship sponsorship.
Scholarship Amount
Sponsors shall designate the monetary amount of each scholarship sponsored.
Award Timeline
Sponsors shall designate how often each scholarship will be awarded.
Per Semester
Per Academic Year
(i.e., will this scholarship be available for students to apply for each semester or per academic year)
Distribution of Funding
Sponsors shall designate how funding is distributed when a scholarship is designated as a per academic year opportunity. (i.e., $250.00 scholarship can be awarded in its entirety upon award at the beginning of fall semester or a split distribution of $125.00 at the beginning of fall semester and the remaining balance applied at the beginning of spring semester).
Eligibility Requirements
Sponsors shall designate if there are any eligibility requirements. (i.e., grade point average requirements, is this scholarship major specific or pertaining to any other specialty area or interest).
Donation of Scholarship Funding
Per semester distribution will require the donation of scholarship funding to be submitted on or before the beginning of the semester prior to the forthcoming award date.
Fall Semester - Funding Submission December 31st
Fall Semester 2023 - Funding Submission July 1st
Spring Semester - Funding Submission August 31st
Per academic year will require the donation of scholarship funding to be submitted on or before December 31st of the year prior to the projected award date.
Academic Year 2023 - Funding Submission July 1st
Scholarship Recipient Selection Participation by Sponsor
Sponsors shall have the option of participating in the selection process of each scholarship sponsored. Participation will involve the review of essay(s) transmitted electronically displaying an assigned applicant number and the application of a grade point rank to each essay reviewed. Name of applicant(s) shall not be disclosed to any entity partaking in the review and ranking process to ensure an unbiased grade point ranking system is utilized.
The On Campus Mom Foundation scholarship committee is currently composed of individuals who support our mission of “No Bear Left Behind.” The On Campus Mom Foundation scholarship committee members reside in multiple geographical regions and are not affiliated with Baylor University or its student population.
